My Beautiful Butterfly!

Happy Halloween!

Well, we took the girls trick-or-treating last night. It was a great night to go. Lily really enjoyed going. She understood quickly. She didn't want them to put her candy in her Elmo bucket. She wanted to do it. We got her to say "Trick-or-treat" a few times...but she really liked saying "Thank You" and "Bye-Bye". I'll post more picks of Shianna later.

Gesell Get Together

Here is the Gesell's at Starved Rock. We were sad that some family couldn't make it =( We are missing Dean, Damian, Rachel, Brian, Gwen & Andrew.

Pumpkin Fest

Oh My have we been busy! We went to a Pumpkin Festival at Young's Dairy Farm on Sept. 29th. The girls had alot of fun. They picked out GIANT pumpkins (Thank God we brought the wagon) . Lily liked getting on the tractors with Phil. Shianna had a blast going down a Fun Slide.

We have recently found out that Lily loves Elmo ("Mo Mo") It is sooo cute watching her with her Elmo doll and how excited she gets when she wants to watch Elmo on TV. But weirdly enough, Only one Elmo movie is good enough to keep her attention.

Where do you eat your bananas?

Lily eats her bananas in her doll cradle. I thought she would just do it the once but no,no. Everytime you give her a banana (It has to be only half pealed) she goes in the living room and sits in her doll cradle to eat it! Silly Lily!

Tomato!

Lily grabbed a tomato off the counter next to her highchair and just started gnawing on it. I guess our garden tomatoes this year are delicious! She didn't put that thing down until it was gone. Our garden has done pretty well for its first year. We have tomatoes, Green peppers, Green beans, Peas, Broccoli, Zucchini, Pumpkins and Watermelons. Yum!

Play till I drop!

Well, it was only a matter of time with this kid! She was playin hard and finally stopped in the middle of the hallway to take a quick nap on her favorite blankie. Ahh how peaceful...but only for about 30 minutes!!

Volleyball Camp

Shianna finished her last camp...Volleyball Camp! She enjoys volleyball but says she wishes it didn't hurt her hand when she hits the ball. This was her 3rd time participating in the Volleyball Camp.

Illinios Trip

As you can see on our schedule, we went to Illinios last week. We had a great time. We went to breakfast with Hama & Papa. Shianna went to an ice cream social with Hama & Papa. We got to visit with friends we haven't seen very much. Lily really warmed up to Grandma & Grandpa Beccue. Lily would pull on Grandma's arm if she wanted more ice cream. Shianna got to swim with Aunt Jenni. Lily played games with Papa. Shianna & Lily enjoyed Hama's banana bread & brownies.

Tennis Camp

Shianna loves tennis! She had an awesome time at camp. I asked her what she liked best about tennis ? She said "Everything, I love to hit the ball"! There were only about 15 kids at tennis camp with 2 instructors. I really liked how much one-on-one she got while she was there. She had one of her really good friends at camp with her, Kelsey. I swear these two can be inseparable. =)
